M.M. fibreglass gratings and structures and their related accessories especially suit applications in the energy sector (power stations, transformer stations, transmission and distribution lines, transformer cabins, converter stations, distribution stations and control stations). Owing to the presence of electricity, non-conducting materials must be used. M.M. products are designed and tested to ensure maximum electrical insulation in compliance with the existing EN 61340 – 2-3 e IEC 61340-4-5 safety standards, which allowed to classify M.M. products as excellent insulators (surface resistance and resistivity (Rs), transverse resistance and resistivity (Rt) and soil resistance and resistivity). In order to guarantee maximum safety, M.M. supplies products with excellent flame resistance in compliance with EN13501, ASTM E84, ASTM D635, DIN 4102 and NFP 92-507 standards. M.M. covered gratings are perfect for cable ducts and manhole covers. FRP coverings with different load carrying capacities can be supplied, depending on the final purpose of the installation (transit of vehicles or pedestrians). Angle plates and frames for manhole covers complement the range of products. M.M. gratings are also suitable for enclosures, available in modular and preassembled easy-to-install versions, as well as non-conducting walking surfaces and dielectric protections. M.M. also supplies inclined and vertical ladders. All M.M. products are manufactured according to UNI EN ISO 14122 – 1,2,3,4, standards and Legislative Decree 81/2008 on safety in the workplace.
